We had an excellent time last week. We did incur a hiccup with the fridge, but it was replaced within a couple of days. Sue is easy to work with and made sure our stay wasn’t ruined.

We loved this condo! We had 8 people total and had plenty of space and never felt like we were on top of each other. We have stayed at this complex multiple times aland it is our favorite. Perfect location to be able to walk to multiple restaurants and easy access to trolley. We had an issue with the dryer and it was taken care of right away. We are hoping to stay again next year!

The condo was very spacious and had just about all items needed for our stay. Bath soap not provided so make sure to bring your own. The location was awesome, great access to the beach (although the weather did not cooperate during our stay - cold and rainy), restaurants, bars, ice cream and shops all within walking distance. The trolley was great to jump on to visit St. Pete and Clearwater and everything in between. For the one day we sat at the beach, the beach chairs offered were very rusty and ripped. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location and the accommodations. We were able to walk to many restaurants for delicious meals and a variety of Happy Hours.
We enjoyed many walks along the gorgeous beach and the pool area was easily accessible and very welcoming. We used the BBQ two times during our visit as well.
Our condo was large, clean and very well equipped. Four very nice bedrooms and three bathrooms was key for our visit.
The communications with Sue were easy and very prompt.
We would definitely use Long Key again.

This is our second time renting a unit at Sand Key with Long Key Vacation Rentals. The unit is very spacious with a nice pool right on the beach. It is conveniently located with many wonderful restaurants nearby.

The condo was spacious for our 2 families and was stocked with everything we may have needed. We enjoyed the pool and beach and was great to use the condos beach chairs and beach toys. Also loved to be walking distance to a CVS, ice cream, and restaurants. The only downside was the unit below us complained about the noise from our littles (we had ages 1, 2, 3, 4 & 6) - we tried to keep this at a minimum but felt we were always scolding the kids and worrying about this for the remainder of the week.

This condo had a ton of space and was very well stocked for guests. The unit was clean upon arrival and in an excellent location. The shared pool was heated and the perfect temperature. Having stayed in many rentals before we couldn’t believe how well stocked this unit was - from kitchen equipment, pack and play, booster seat, to all the cleaning items. As a family traveling with kids it was perfect.

We had the BEST time staying at this property. We travelled from Scotland after spending the first 12 days in Orlando. We booked Indian Rocks Beach for a little chill time before returning home to the cold. We came with another family and there was more than ample space for 8 people. The home is exceptionally clean, the kitchen well equipped and the beds are the comfiest we have stayed in.
You can’t beat having the beach as your back garden. We took advantage of the property pool too, which was ideal.
The area in general is fantastic. So many restaurants on your doorstep. We loved Crabby Bills, VIP Mexican and Villa Gallace where we had the pleasure of meeting the lovely owner (who shared a passion for Scotland) and WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan.
We hope to come again, although next time we will definitely stay longer. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Eight adults and an infant enjoyed our week together at Island Sands 102. The condo had everything we needed and a few things (for baby) that we didn't realize we'd like to have. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and along the gulf drive. Plenty of places for great carryout and short trips to the grocery store. The condo complex is small with very warm and friendly neighbors. We had a great stay.

There were 3 couples that stayed here and we all really enjoyed the condo. We found it very clean and accommodated all of our needs. The only thing we want to mention is the beach chairs made available to us in the storage bin were pretty rusty and in bad condition so we ended up renting some from a local company. Other than that, we were extremely happy with our stay and the entire rental experience.

We were very happy with condo as soon as we opened the door. The pictures were exactly as appeared on the website. It was very clean and smelled fresh and sanitized per COVID guidelines. The management company, Long Key Vacations provided excellent customer service. As long as you are able to walk up 30 steps to the door, I highly recommend this condo.

Our families had a wonderful stay. Like everyone else, our vacation plans were changed dramatically due to Covid. This unit was perfect for a quarantine vacation - the complex is small, there are no elevators, and the beach isn’t crowded. The unit was very clean. There are some good places to eat within walking distance of the unit. My only complaint is that this is a front-facing unit on a busy street/intersection so there was a lot of traffic noise at night.

This was our family's second year at Island Sands--what a great place to spend a week of beach-going and fun. Covid definitely put a damper on many activities, but we cooked at home more and just made our own fun. This is a wonderful place for a multi-family vacation. Certainly hope we can go to Island Sands next year !

We love the Island Sands condos! Two years ago we stayed in condo 101, and we liked it so much we came back this year and stayed in condo 102. It was as great as 101-very spacious, decorated nicely, very clean. We enjoyed the items in the storage locker in the garage-chairs, umbrella, and toys. The beach is right behind the condo. Sue was very helpful with some issues we had.
We walked to Tropical Ice Cream And Coffee, which loved, almost every night. We also enjoyed Slyce Pizza, and Crabby Bill's seafood restaurant.

Our experience exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were wonderful and we loved the location. Very close to the beach and within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and the ice cream shop which we visited often. One weekend we had seven of us and another weekend six of us and the property accommodated us easily and very comfortably. Hope to return again soon.

We stayed in October, 2019. The Good: The beach is very close and there were lots of beach chairs and sand toys to use. The condo was clean and well stocked. We could walk to the ice cream stand and to dinner.
The OK: The mattresses in the rooms were ok, but not great. The pool is small for the number of units, but it was very clean.
The bad: The condo is a about 20 feet off the main road which was also under construction. Jack hammers and dump trucks going all day, but also car traffic and motorcycles all night long. Coming from the pool and ocean,you had to walk up the stairs which are on the road side and in view of the construction workers and cars. The view is marginal and not much of a breeze on the patio. I would recommend black out curtains in the bedrooms as no one slept well. The noise, the traffic, and the traffic lights and head lights shined through the blinds.
The price was good for oceanview, but if I went again, I would check out the oceanfront units in the same building.

The condo lived up to our expectations. The location (almost on the beach and close to necessary shops) was great. The unit was very clean and pretty well supplied, although we did buy and leave a few kitchen things. The only downside was the almost constant traffic noise in the bedrooms at the front. Sue was very easy to work with.

The house at Island Sands was wonderful! It was roomy, clean, and well equipped. Only complaint was the dish washer needed some TLC. The entire family gave it a "thumbs up" and hoping to return next year. Thanks so much for a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the spacious beach house at Island Sands. It easily accommodated our family with plenty of seating in the living/ dining area and had a well appointed kitchen. There is limited view of the ocean, but you are on the beach and it’s easy access without crossing a road. The pool/deck area is smaller but clean and there are beach chairs and beach toys for the kids. The beds were ok but we all agreed they could use new pillows. The management requested (not required) the used towels be collected by the washer at the end of the stay. Cleaning crew may have assumed it was clean, but the hand towel in the bathroom had lipstick on it upon our arrival. One final note: we were told there was a pack n play crib at the condo but didn’t find one. We arrived after 9pm the day before our grandbaby and were able to obtain a crib the next morning but had we all arrived late, not having a crib would have been problematic. Minor issues all in all and I would recommend and return to Island Sands without hesitation. Sue Elliott is great to work with, too!

My family and I were very happy with our Island Sands 102 rental experience and the professional representation from Sue at the management company. The condo is well suited for family beach vacations with the large size of the living quarters, onsite pool, and direct beach access. The owners have stocked it with everything that we needed to stay comfortably in the condo for the week including beach equipment for all. We did find that the traffic/street noise to be high as others had mentioned; it is simply a product of the condo location being adjacent to a major intersection in IRB. We did enjoy easily walking to the close restaurants like Jake's Cantina (don't miss 2-4-1 burritos on Thursday) and Crabby Bill's along with CVS for the forgotten supplies.

Everything went as planned, no problems, home was gorgeous and very spacious. We loved being close to the trolley stop and a quick walk to ice cream each night. What a treat!

The condo was in good shape, very spacious and comfortable. The biggest let down was the absence of a view from the balcony. There is a 2 story building directly between the balcony and the ocean. The ocean can be seen by looking around the edge of the balcony, but the pictures don't quite depict that. The only other oddity was the room with a double bed had no closet, overhead light or fan. It was a room with a door, 4 walls and a window, which made keeping clothes wrinkle free a challenge.

One last note, it is on the second floor of the building nearest the road. The address (102) made it seem like it would be the lowest floor. The road is quite loud at the intersection nearest the condo. Seems like there was a squad going by every few hours.

What a great place. Our family had a great time in this condo. The condo is very up to date and has all the needed amenities. The condo is so big and arranged nicely with the bedrooms away from the main living area and the kitchen. 3 bathrooms was great as well!

I was very pleased with the size of the condo. It is located in a very convenient area that allows you to walk to local shops and restaurants. The one drawback is that it can be noisy (traffic) due to the location next to the intersection and close proximity of 2 bedrooms to the street. The condo was very clean and provides many amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

This property and location was great for a family of three adults and four kids. Plenty of space for all. The kids loved the pool. The only improvement we would recommend would be to upgrade the bed sheets and pillows. There were extra pillows but we didn't find any covers for them. As well as add more towels, be bought a couple and left them behind there was only about 1 towel a person. Easy fix I would highly recommend. If we go back to this area again we would try to see if this property is available. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay. There were 3 groups in our condo and everyone had plenty of space. The beach and pool are perfect, and you cannot beat the location to restaurants.

We had an amazing time , property was perfect . We spent a lot of time at beach and kids loved pool . We hired a car and visited Clearwater beach 3/4 evenings and also visited a few malls .the property was a perfect central location and was in walking distance to a few nice places to eat .

My family of 8 stayed for a week in the rental unit. The unit was a GREAT space for us, we could all sit in the living room together, eat together and had plenty of room in the bedrooms and bathrooms. We could walk to the Kooky Coconut for ice cream every night and were centrally located between my favorite town of Pass-A-Grille and Clearwater Beach. We had rented a 15 passenger van that was taller than normal and it did not fit - we couldn't get it under the building. It wasn't a big deal and the place was totally worth it!

Very nice condo. Good location. Comfortable furniture. Fridge worked well cooling a lot drinks and groceries. Beds were a little hard and dining room blinds wouldn't rotate closed allowing neighbors to look in at night and sunlight heating during the afternoon. Enjoyed dining at PJ's Oyster Bar, Crabby Bill's and The Conch Republic.

We originally booked a unit in a completely different part of FL but they ended up having to cancel our booking just a few weeks prior to when we were going. Well I am beyond happy that this happened to us because we then found this gem. This condo was wonderful. We had a house full of friends and family and we had plenty of room. We never felt that we were on top of each other or too crowded. The parking is under the unit which is so nice in the hot Florida sun as well as rain. There were plenty of chairs, pool noodles, boogey boards, and an umbrella (some of which we actually purchased and left for future guests) in a small storage shed next to the parking spots. The pool was great and the beach was just a short walk right after the pool. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for helping us have one of the best vacations ever!

We had a family vacation. Our group included our daughters, their husbands and three children ( ages 1, 1 & 3). The condo was the perfect size and floor plan for us.

Overall a good experience. Susan Elliott was really easy to work with. The location was great. Access was very easy. The condo was spacious and very clean. The beach equipment was not in great shape - I would recommend updating some of the beach chairs. In addition, the bed pillows were in poor shape. I would recommend updating them.

The condo is large and feels larger than the photos indicate. The beach is very nice but the street noise is very loud with lots of sirens. One drape was broken and the vinyl on a chair was peeling but everything else was in good shape and as described. A bonus was the large amount of beach toys available.

Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay! Many restaurants within walking distance and directly on the beach! The complex itself was very quiet and had a very laid back feel. It was kind of noises during the day with all the traffic but was quiet by 10pm. There was a total of 8 of us that stayed here and we all had plenty of room! This place had everything you could need! (Even a pack and play for small children, which was awesome!) only complaint was the floor was pretty dirty. After walking around barefoot, your feet would be black on the bottom. Other than that and the blender being broken, we had no complaints! For a large group and the need for 4 bedrooms, I don't think we could have gotten anything nicer for the price!

First trip to Florida with the entire family, had a great time and there were many locations to see and activities to do, all within a short drive!

Island Sands 102 was a fantastic rental. The beach is super close that you can walk there in 30 seconds in bare feet through the parking and pool areas. The apartment is large and spacious with a grand hallway that makes your time indoors very enjoyable. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The open plan living makes spending time with family and friends great. We had a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids) plus 4 more single adults (grandma, brother, sister, friend) and this place fit us all with room to spare :)
The apartment is also a 60 second walk to retail: coffee shop, ice cream store, bike/gear rental place, great Mexican restaurant, fresh fish shop, and the fantastic Crabby Bills seafood restaurant. And CVS is just a 2-3 minute walk away for all the essentials.
This apartment is ideal for families with young children since shuttling between the apartment and the beach is super quick for lunchtime, snack time, nap time, potty time, etc. In addition they have a crib and baby chair, so you don't need to rent/buy those essentials.
The proximity to Walsingham Rd for access to supermarket, Walmart, Tampa, airport, etc is really nice as well.
The beach view is large enough to be able to see the conditions, but this place isn't for those that like sitting on the deck... it is for those that like sitting on the beach :)
You won't regret renting here. We hope to be back soon!

Only two recommendations about this property. 1st: the 4th room the bed is not confortable, they have to change the matress. 2nd: it could be more secur for the guest if they could have a safety box for deposit important things (passeport, money......)

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The condo was great and the location was as well. Also loved the storage locker full of beach items!

Great condo!! was worried when we saw the view but the condo was so large and had everything we could have needed so it didn't affect us. Would stay again. all kinds of restaurants close. You could walk or drive. The beach was not busy even in July. Stores were close as well. The Kitchen had everything you needed to cook with. It was great to have a natural gas grill so you didn't have to worry about running out. Pool was clean. Plenty of showers to clean off outside. The only thing we needed was beach chairs and a umbrella. The ones in condo was broke. Plenty of beach toys though. Had a great time!!
