Bahia Vista

The house has an amazing view. You will see lots of dolphins. We caught a lot of trout and snapper.The side yard is not fenced in so I had to take my dog on multiple walks a day but the neighborhood is very clean and everyone I saw was very friendly.

As advertised. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The property was well appointed with all the basics and then some. The kayaks, float matt, and dock all did their part fabulously and the hot tub did not disappoint. We also saw plenty of dolphins right in front of us; though it tends to mess up the fishing. :) We usually rent beachside and didn’t find the walk to be a big deal.

We have been staying at Bahia Vista for the same week in March for the last 5 years - pretty much says we think the property and Long Key are great! It was nice this past March to see improvements in the kitchen, and a much-improved and expanded parking arrangement with a beautiful paver driveway. The view here of the Intracoastal is the real hero of the property, and the location is walkable to the beach, parks, and restaurants. We are already reserved, same month, same week next year! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Bahia Vista in Indian Rocks Beach. We really enjoyed the patio right on the water. Lots of boats, birds and a few dolphins! The beach access was 1/2 mile away and we usually walked. The house was clean and spacious with everything we needed to make meals and feel right at home.

WOW what a wonderful vacation!! This house is the perfect location! The back patio was our favorite spot. We watched dolphins swim everyday, kayaked with the manatees, swam off the dock and enjoyed the hot tub in the evening! Loved reading my book on the hammock & playing tiki toss. My husband & I rode the bikes every morning through the beautiful neighborhoods & to Pipo-N-Betty's for frozen coffee. Our teenage daughters rode the bikes each evening to the Kooky Coconut for ice cream or a hot pretzel then headed to the beach steps away for a swim & to watch the sunset. The beach is beautiful, white sand, great shells, & was never crowded. If you are looking for shopping(not surf shops) Dunedin was a cute town! They had great boutiques, breweries, restaurants and nice bike & walking paths. It was a beautiful town to visit! Indian Rocks beach is a great place, We will be renting this house again!

The house was immaculate with new furniture, updated appliances, mirrored shower overlooking the intercostal, and a Hot tub to have a drink and watch the boats go by during the day or listen to the dolphins swimming by the break wall. My kids had a blast and will definitely be staying here again. The landscape is beautiful with flowers blooming everywhere! Give this vacation spot a try next time you wanna get away!

Older house. Location was great. Loved the patio, watching dolphins & boaters. Could use some updating. Plaster ceiling in dining room is badly cracked. Furniture is breaking down & faded. Under cabinet lighting in kitchen is very suspect. Needs to be redone by a professional. Top of coffee maker was melted because lights burn too hot. Fire hazard. Hot tub was nice. Bathroom’s we’re nice, but drawers in master bathroom need to be fixed.

2022 was our 4th return to Bahia Vista - and we have already booked again for 2023! This vacation rental is perfect for us - we love the friendly neighborhood, the location, the attention to every detail at the property, and the responsiveness of Long Key staff. This year’s additions include a new tiki toss game out back, a nice touch when outside enjoying the view which is the real star of this property - and we also enjoyed that amazing view from the huge hot tub. Lastly it’s a huge bonus that this property being pet friendly. We are really happy with this great find! Highly recommend!

While the pictures on the site must have been several years old, the property was very clean when we arrived. The best part of the property is the back yard/patio. If you love watching dolphins, manatees, and an amazing assortment of birds, and boats, this is the place for you! We have always stayed on the gulf side, so I was worried about the transition to the intercoastal side. Needless to say we loved it! We spent 90 percent of our time on the patio. Glad we took a large umbrella to provide some shade in the mornings. We did some fishing. n' Didn't catch much, but enjoyed doing it. I would recommend this property without reservation. We also loved the fact we were able to take our dogs! Book this place! You'll love it!

This was the second time we stayed at the Bahia Vista house. The house is great, and it’s literally minutes from food, fun, and the beach. The views on the inlet are amazing. My mom watched the sunrise and the dolphins playing every morning.

What can I say about his house, is that it was more than we expected. It has a view as soon as you walk in that takes your breath away. The house was super clean and had all we needed for our stay for the week.The back patio is the absolute gem of the house. My mother sat outside and watched the dolphins and manatees and loved to see the Cormorants and cranes that settle in the huge beautiful tree that overlooks the back patio. The landscape is immaculate and the hibiscus are everywhere. The neighborhood was quite and private. Nice people live there too. I fished off dock caught mangrove snapper and speckled trout. we also had our dog along with us and she loved watching the birds and lying on the warm pavers on the back patio. I suggest this place to anyone who loves a house in paradise because it truly is. I will be booking it again for next year. Sue was very helpful in setting up the rental for us. Thank you for a wonderful time

We stayed for two weeks and did not want to leave. Watching the boats and dolphins daily was pretty awesome. We were there during Hurricane Elsa and Sue was very helpful on what to expect. Having the bikes was very helpful for us to get to and from the beach. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint and it's a very little one I wished we would have had a vacuum. We did have a small broom but it would have been very helpful to have a small vacuum to clean up sand and leaves that blew in daily. Overall this was the perfect place for our family and I would rent this place again in a heartbeat! Thank you Sue!!

We (my husband and I, daughter, and dog) stayed in this house for a week and loved it. The house is super-clean and well-configured. Very relaxing to hang out on the patio. Appreciated the kayaks and brought our own SUP. There is a small but good dog park two blocks north. Two minor quibbles: the neighbors to the south played loud music all day for a few of the days we were there, and the boats really zoom by in this part of the intracoastal, both of which detract from a peaceful stay. But we would overlook those two things and rent again without hesitation.

This property is a gem! We just came back and I cannot express how happy we are that we chose it: beautiful, clean, comfortable house; great fishing (my husband caught all sorts of fish and even crabs and stig rays - we let them all go, but the experience was fun); hot tub with an amazing view in winter is a great addition; 10 min walk to the beach; dolphins swam daily 20 feet from the deck; quiet neighbourhood; blooming hibiscuses everywhere around the house. We kayaked and biked there. Kids swam right off the deck. The only two minor inconveniences: the washer and dryer are older so they don't squeeze out all water during spinning and it takes a long time for dryer to actually dry; the light outside by the washer/dryer would go on and off at night on its own and it was difficult for kids to fall asleep. We had to put a tape on it for the duration of our stay. Everything else was awesome.

This was the perfect place to have a family vacation away from the crowd. We used the kayaks daily, rode bikes and our boys fished off the docks. We had dolphins swim right under the dock and even saw a pink flamingo.
The house was clean and spacious, the backyard was super nice. I usually have a hard time sleeping but not at this house. It was quite and we all commented on how good we slept.

This is a great place to stay for boaters. It has a great boat lift & cleaning station for fish. It was clean & spacious. We loved the numerous outdoor seating areas, and watching the dolphins from the dock! Can't wait to visit next year.

This is a perfect home for relaxing with amazing water views. We so enjoyed watching the sunrise in the morning and walking down to the beach in the evening for sunsets. We loved the birds and the dolphins coming by and the peaceful neighborhood is bonus. We had all the supplies we needed for making a few meals at the house. But the location is fantastic and the excellent restaurants and the beach are so easy to walk to. My only complaint is we couldn't stay longer.

Beautiful water views from the inside to the back patio and inner coastal! During a hot and busy holiday weekend, Bahia Vista provided a peaceful and pleasant retreat. So nice to have shade and a cool breeze away from the crowds on the back patio. We saw dolphins, rays, and shorebirds daily. The dock was great for fishing, and the house was spacious and well laid out. Be aware that the kayaks, though in reasonable condition, are on the small side for adults and because of all of the glass that provides the beautiful water views, the house is very bright, very early in the morning! We very much enjoyed our week at Bahia Vista and would definitely stay here again.

We loved the home on Bahia Vista. Location was great, the home was clean and we had a great time. A few added amenities would have been nice. We purchased a few items and left them for future visitors.

We spent a week at this amazing quaint little home. The trees in the back provide shade when you want it but there is plenty of area for laying in the sun too. We were in awe of the dolphins, stingrays, and manatees that literally swim right by you against the wall and under the dock. It was amazing. Our kids and their friends were constantly entertained. They also loved swimming off the dock. There were so many beautiful birds of all different species stopping by the big tree or swimming by or taking a rest on the dock. Super cool! We used the dock to fish and catch huge crabs of all different species. The kayaks were a blast and the kids rode the bikes around the little town and to the beach! The hammock and the swing were such a nice touch...we could not get enough! It is just the best!! We loved it all!! Beautiful, relaxing, and loads of fun all rolled into one.

We had a great time. The house was in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants. The view was fantastic. The only negative thing I could say is that it would have been nice to be notified of the maintenance people that stopped by. Maybe a schedule on the counter for the next renters.
But all in all, it was a great place to stay.

We live in Florida and experience a lot of beautiful things and places !! We just wanted a getaway for Thanksgiving !it was absolutely beautiful and in a great location !! That view is absolutely gorgeous I don’t think you could ask for a better view !! and the house was spotless and beautiful!! The pictures don’t even do it justice!! Even though the pictures were beautiful !! The house and the atmosphere it’s just 10 times better than I thought it would be!! It was so clean and kayaks and bikes and a beautiful hot tub on the water by the dock!! Being that I live only a half hour away I will definitely rent it out a couple times during the year for a getaway !! I would recommend this Beautiful house to anybody !! The beach is across the street !! So many wonderful restaurants nearby everything is very Close!! If you want a nice vacation rental on the water this is it !!! We definitely will be back !! Very clean and accommodated !! Thank you to Sue for everything !!being so clean and so perfect and a place and we will definitely go back to ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Bahia Vista. This house has everything you need. The sunrises are breath taking. Fishing from the dock was great, and the grill came in handy to cook up our catch. We had dolphins swim right against the seawall everyday, just a few feet from our lounge chairs. The hot tub was a perfect place to relax, it almost has an infinity pool type of feel with it being so close to the water. There was plenty of seating all around. The house was beautifully decorated with that beach feel, and lets not forget the mirrored sliding door in the master bath! The entire property was comfortable and was very pet friendly, although the yard is not fully fenced. IRB is a awesome little town with great restaurants and has that typical island feel! This will definitely be a spot we will return to. Thank you to Sue for making our vacation one to remember. Can't wait to book another trip to Bahia Vista!
