Sandcastle II

Very pleasant! Very glad to see that the facility was up and running after the hurricane. Especially seeing other facilities were still recovering.

Great place to stay. Love the location. My only concern was the lack of grab bars in the second bathroom. Its a very deep bath tub which is great for relaxing baths but hard to get into if you are a senior.

Unit was clean, convenient and had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing week. There were beach chairs, pool noodles, sand toys, etc.

Beautiful beach front property! Very clean, and well appointed. Walking distance to restaurant's and shops. Child friendly location with easy access to the beach and pool, beach chairs and sand toys were a plus!The washer and dryer make help to reduce the amount of clothes that you need to pack, especially for the kids. Mattresses in the two guest bedrooms could use an upgrade, and there was an issue with the lock on the door that is in the process of being fixed. Management team was very polite and helpful. We will defeinetly return for another stay !

This was a great condo. It is roomy, and the furniture is like new. The kitchen is well stocked with everything that we needed. My husband and I are very fond of this part of the coast. There’s lots of cute restaurants in the beach is beautiful. We love going down to John’s Pass and looking for dolphins. There are almost always some there.

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable,decor was nice. Short walk to the beautiful beach. Pool was nice. Only complaint was the parking. Nothing the owners can change about that, but it was an inconvenience. Only 1 designated parking spot and guest parking is hard to come by. I would definitely recommend this unit.

Great location, right across from Caddy’s restaurant (and the shrimp tacos are fabulous!), and within walking distance of several cute stores. Room was older but clean and the bathrooms had been recently renovated. Will stay there again!

We had a great week. Restaurants within walking distance and grocery stores are a short drive. The beach was clean and the water crystal clear. The unit was clean and the kitchen well stocked with all the amenities necessary for a wonderful week at the beach. We really appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels provided. The grounds and pool area were well kept. The communication with the management company and owners were great. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We highly recommend!

Overall the place was really good...well stocked, nice view, convenient location. The one thing that was very disappointing was the second bedroom with two queen beds. Those beds were so squeaky and hard, they were unusable. For the price, it seemed too high for only a functioning 2 bedroom. The owner needs to replace those beds so that they do not squeak and they either need new mattresses or good toppers.

Fantastic location. Clean, bright with modern appliances and kitchen. Sue Elliott at Long Key Rentals was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions!

Our family exhausted from covid fatigue, needing a getaway, still wanting to be protective of an older loved one booked a few days on Indian Shores to rest and recharge. We had a wonderful experience!

The condo is perfect for larger groups. The bedrooms and living areas are spacious. The kitchen had everything you would need to make meals if you so desired. The balcony is quite big, bigger than you would expect. The pool and hot tub were a joy. You are literally on the beach. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed the beach, the pool, the Tropical Ice Cream shop. We also enjoyed Frenchy's on the beach at Clearwater and Osaka sushi in Largo. Also Caddy's across the street. And the George McGough Nature Park in Largo.

Everyone had a great time. the weather was great for the beach and pool. only problem was finding a parking place when we arrived. Someone took our assigned spot and had to find another spot. It was a holiday weekend and after Monday when some vacationers left we were able to get into our spot and had no problems the rest of the week. Overall it was a great vacation and we will probably use this condo again next year.

The room was exactly as laid out. Easy check in and out process. Several bonus amenities, like items for the beach and pool. Kitchen was well stocked. Laundry in unit was a wonderful plus. It was nice and quiet, no issues with neighbor noise at night. Could not beat the view. Would recommend to anyone. Area felt safe, able to go for a run without any issues. No issues within the unit during our stay.

Had a lovely time. The condo has just about everything anyone could need (except clothes)! It’s been updated and is beautifully decorated in a Beachy theme. The only recommendation I would have is to bring a set of your own sheets if you’re staying longer than two weeks because there are no extras, making washing your sheets rather difficult unless you want to stay in the condo until they’re done so yo can put them right back on the bed. We loved it and are planning to stay for three months next year!

We have stayed many times at sandcastle II.... the location is fabulous and have never had a bad experience. Our last visit was our first with grandchildren. The accommodations were excellent and clean. There was plenty of room .

We have stayed at one of the Sandcastles for several years now and really like the location and the private beaches. Sue at Long Key Vacation Rentals was very helpful in finding us a condo for a short stay over Mother's Day weekend. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon before summer is over. The unit at Sandcastle II unit 2402 was nicely decorated, very clean and the beds were comfortable!

This beautifully decorated condo had everything you would possibly need and more. A fully stocked kitchen, beautiful furniture, books, games, puzzles, decks of cards, movies and even night lights! There was a binder full of information about the area including restaurants, shopping, transportation and maps. The condo was the cleanest condo we have rented in the Sandcastle buildings. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the breathtaking sunsets. A perfect place to stay!

Condo unit was perfect...location perfect...views perfect. I have pre:iously vacationed at Sandcastle and this was the best ever. Hated to leave to return home.

We had a wonderful vacation with our son & daughter-in-law, and our grandchildren. The condo is great! Beautiful view of the gulf and the pool! Love the size of the balcony! The location is awesome, with a great restaurant right across the street The Pub. Also, an ice cream shop across the street. There are also more restaurants, shops, a CVS right down the street! This is a great place for a family vacation. We will definitely be back!!

From the moment we walked into the condo it was perfect! We could not have asked for more and Mother Nature was on our side too. We highly recommend the condo we stayed in and the property manager, she did not steer us wrong, this was paradise!

We had a great time! We really liked the condo; everything we could possibly need was there.

I was very well pleased with everything. All was organized and well planned out. I lacked nothing.
There was a minor problem with being able to watch DVD's and/or TV without changing cables in the back but this was due to the Cable company not making a correct connection and not the fault of the owner. I would rate my experience as A+. If it was less expensive it would be a A+++!!
